MyPrice app good for
Great app, but unless you put photographer as a free lancer, it will very usefull for me. And for that i gave you 4 stars. Good job.
Its still somewhat buggy, but i find it to be a very valuable tool for a design professional such as myself.
I like the app. Its good to gauge the total of a quote but I would appreciate being able to customize the base rate
It has helped a lot organizing my steps towards becoming a better designer.
This app really simplified the process of calculating what a designer needs to charge. Thank you to the developer for this neat & tidy solution.
Because freelance work is such a broad, vague field, you have to think broadly about some of the questions for this app to work well. Once you figure it out and tweak some of your answers, its great. I only wish that in some of the expenses lists there was an option to say 0 instead of choosing from a range (eg, $0, $100-200, $200-500, etc could be better).
Some bad moments
Guys, seriously that I paid for this? Im getting NaN as a result. Id like to hear from the company before I ask for my money back.
It doesnt work!!! I answered all the questions and then calculated the price. Everything came back as NAN. Then I emailed it to myself and the results came back with arbitrary numbers followed by "undefined"... So Im not sure if those numbers were random or if they were meant to be the dollar amount.
Its a weak product. Does not bring much value to the user, but Im sure it brings quite a bit of useful information to the owners of MyPrice.
Choice of skills is very limited & basing rate only on expenses doesnt result in a fair rate. Why should you charge less for the same work just because youre expenses are lower?
The 3.0 update has made this app completely useless compared to the previous versions...
The upgrade makes the app nonfunctional. Now you have to download and use proLance, which is not complete.
